Socratic Cert

Privacy

Learning, readiness, transcript, and billing projections stay in the EU application database. Clerk stores only authentication identity.

Processors: Clerk (authentication identity, United States), Stripe or Link (payments and legally required billing records), and Mistral EU (tutor generation and evaluation at api.eu.mistral.ai).

Authentication identity is processed by Clerk in the United States under Clerk's DPA and DPF/SCC transfer mechanisms.

Learner prompts are sent only to Mistral's EU API to produce the current tutor or evaluation response. The application does not send learner prompts to AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, or Anthropic, and does not use them to train Socratic Cert models.

Account, practice, and billing processing is required to provide the service. Readiness and due-review scheduling use your learning records to show progress. They do not grant or deny a credential, job, or official exam result.

Product telemetry does not include transcript text, email, or billing identity.

Deletion revokes access immediately. Application data is erased or anonymized within 30 days, backups expire within 35 days, and legally required billing records are retained.

You can export your application data or delete your account from Account settings. Stripe retains legally required billing records.
